Thinking about customizing a center console for the second row seating with either one or two 8" woofers, firing out the side and cup holders on top...

What 8" sub should I go with? Here are some choices...

DC Level 2-8
Sundown SA-8
JL 8w7
DD 1508a

i really like the 8w7, i know there expensive. sq wise not much compares imho.

how much power on it, and you doing small sealed or ported?

I'll probably go sealed for sq, use to be into all the boomy bass...from kove armagheddon t3, kicker l5 l7, Jl w3-w7, DD 95 series...but all I want is nice sound quality now

I will be runnin a 5 channel phoenix gold Ti series...2 sets of Ti components...the sub output on the amp is rated 900w rms..headunit is a sony nav...plus a 20'' soundstream lcd flipdown, stinger 0awg wiring

thats the plans so far...just deciding what sub to go with

small sealed, add the Kicker Soloclassic 8"...likes .33 sealed....the SA likes ported, DD will want ported as well..w7 is sweet sealed too.

timjohnson22- thats basically my thoughts, a more rounded look, like a tray area with 2 cup holders, either going back firing or down....

but awesome install
