I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe LS 5.7 4x4. I want to replace all 4 shocks. I have an idea on the kind of shocks I want. I want to ask the experts on here to get a good suggestion. I'm not trying to lift it or pull things heavy. I just want a comfortable ride on the highway. I don't want to feel anything when in driving. Any suggestions?

There's a lot of aftermarket specialty choices. Depends if you want a stiffer ride or softer ride. Most retail auto centers will have several choices for either stock OEM replacement or a heavier, more sporty option. Some if not most shops will give some kind of window, 2 weeks or 30 days, etc for you to determine if you like the new shocks, ie- their ride guarantee.
Just keep in mind that when you put on any new shocks the vehicle will feel different immediately. As we drive our vehicles, the ride quality diminishes gradually over time and we tend not to notice. Just give whatever shocks you decide to go with a few days of driving to get used to instead of going back for a refund. Same goes with new tires and front end repairs. When suspension or front end components are replaced, all the sloppiness that you was there when you drove into the shop with is not there when you drive out. People always freak out about that for some reason. Lol.
That being said, most shops will stock Monroe or Gabriel which are fine for straight OEM. Rancho will give you a stiffer feel and is marketed for off road performance. Being you have a 99 you may have Bilstien's on there. Check out RockAuto for an idea on selection.

I agonized over this decision myself, and had a hell of a time of trying to sort through all the options and opinions. In the end I decided that while there a great many things I have no problem wildly modifying and re-engineering in the pursuit of something I imagine will be better than the manufacturer built, a basically straight-up stock 99 Yukon will work for me and my family. So, Bilsteins it was for me. Learned that the original part numbers aren't available anymore, but confirmed with several people that BSN-24-021791 in back and BSN-24-104050 in front were the best modern-day analogs for OEM. About 1,000 miles on them so far and couldn't be happier. Mildly stiff-ish right out of the garage (though not what I would call rough of uncomfortable at all) but settled in nicely and quickly, very comfortable on the road (wife agrees!) and yet very "tight" feel. Worth noting that I have the 265/75 tires and always keep them at 35 psi.

I had a 95 Tahoe 2 door 4wd. I put Rancho RS 9000 shocks all the way around on it and loved it. I set them at a medium setting and drove them over 100000 miles with no issues.

Seriously high quality stuff.
