would love to check this thing out when you get it all back together.
I went down and talked to lashway when i was looking for someone to tune mine, was a bit far and they would have had to rent awd dyno time to get it done. ended up goin with a different shop.
Sure thing

Installed Innovators West pump pulley today. Requires a stout press, my press registered almost 8 tons. Machined a .500 spacer to control press depth. Glad I’m “dry running” the belt setup before build. Wanted to check tensioner however did not receive a pulley. The alignment came out really nice

Talked to Innovators West today, the people there are awesome! Missing pulley already in route. Really friendly staff.

Do you think the stock bottom end of the 5.3 can handle a nice set of heads and a mild cam on 8lbs? I would think that with those additions and a similar setup to yours, 550rwhp isnt out of the realm. Thats about where i want to be but there is no way I can afford to swap in a 6.2. Not to mention my wife will have my cuglione's on her rearview window for doing this to a 1yo truck. I guess the next question is what needs to be done to the trans to keep it from detonating.

I’m right around 9psi on stock block. Dyno pull was lower gear so could show a little higher. Heads and cam will help a little but lower end can support only so much. Depending on wheel size etc don’t expect too much 510rwhp a good target with bolt ons and meth. And at around 500 your trans should be fine (I’m running a 6l80). Wouldn’t want to push to much more through without trans upgrades. Considering about 200 more whp than stock, this 5500lb vehicle actually moves. And yeah, required some tricky negotiations and finesse from my girl. The words Coach and Louis Vuitton came up often....

Hi all, been awhile, quick update. Manufactured my meth tank, still need to do final lines to the pump and a vented fill, however should have permanently installed by weekend. Was a good project to practice stainless welding and procedures. Pretty happy with final product, extremely little distortion. I used rivnuts for the mounting. If done again, I would make the tank slightly smaller, needed to modify the battery tray to fight right. Final yield is 2.5 gallons usable

Received all of the components for the 2/3 drop and sway bar kit from NORCAL. Also a JL audio stealth box and appropriate amp. Now if this rain lets up I will hopefully get some more done this weekend:D

Also heard from TexasSpeed, looks like my short block will be shipping after Memorial Day! Super exciting!
