Not as easy as I thought it would be, that's for sure. This has been the roughest year of my life. The first month after surgery was hands down the hardest. I couldn't walk without a walker (yep, old lady walker complete with tennis balls on the legs). I couldn't bathe myself, and worst of all, I couldn't even wipe my own ass. My wife absolutely hated it, but she had to wipe my ass for me, lol. She bought a big box of rubber gloves specifically for that. But I'm way past that now. I've graduated from a walker to a cane, then onto walking on my own. I still have a long road ahead of me, and it won't be easy. I was hoping my back pain would be gone, but sadly it isn't!! Now my nerve pain is gone though, I no longer have the intense shooting pains going down my legs, but my actual back pain is about the same.welcome back scotty boy, long time no see, hows the recovery coming along?
