Wow...$2k for the entire set up is a nice deal there. Does that include the little "got ya's" like mount, balance, sensors,.... ?

Looks good!!

Make sure you get that control arm replaced or you'll be buying 2 tires real soon!

Yeah I had them replace both control arms. $800 bucks later.

The cost for just the wheels and tires was about 2K, mounting was extra. Tires were only 199 a piece from discount tire, shopped.

Here are some more pics. Truck is still dirty, but it's been raining here and doesn't look like it is going to stop for the next few days.

Yeah, that control arm thing has me puzzled as well.

When the dealer slaps on the option 22s I'm pretty sure they don't replace anything else.

Yea and when I got my tires re-alligned/balanced/rotated a few weeks ago they told me I did need new tires but never mentioned anything about replacing the 'control arms'... anyone wanna fill us in?

Yeah, my ball joints where just shot. had nothing to do with the wheels. My old tires where just wearing all uneven. With our trucks you can't just replace the ball joints, you have to replace the whole control arm. RATFARTS!

When do you replace them and how can you tell when you need to replace them? I'm ready to go check for these before I order my Nitto 420S tires :chicken:

You can usually tell that you need ball joints if your ride is real rough. You can also get down there and check them by appearance if they are real bad and the rubber is real worn.

Honestly I found out when my truck started to pull to the left. I turned the wheels and saw my tires were worn on the inside. I jacked the truck up and tugged the wheels and there was a lot of play. I inspected the suspension and the upper control arm bearings were toast.

But $800 seems pretty high. I paid $300 for the parts and installed them myself like in 2 hrs.
