oh, that isn't OnStar? haha. learn something new every day.

i pushed mine up into the headliner and blocked it off because water was somehow leaking into my headliner then when i would drive, all the sudden water would pour down onto me and scare the hell out of me. i kind of forgot about it after that haha. i'll add that to the list of things to fix i guess :)

I am actually in the hunt for an aspirator for my 03' Tahoe. You guys know of any reputable companies that sell them before I attempt the dealer. Thanks

I saw them on amazon for $20 or so. I also have to replace mine too, I just haven't done it yet.

Good luck!

Great thread! That noise (sounds like a fan running) was driving me crazy! My rear is the one that is real loud the front I can barely hear. So, just so I understand you can clean these and they will quite? Or should I just replace both? Thanks!

I also found this on Amazon. "ACDelco 15-51256 Inside Air Temperature Sensor Aspirator Assembly" $23.44 with free shipping available.

First try cleaning it with compressed air. If that doesn't work then replace, imo.

Before I replaced mine I tried cleaning it a few times. cleaning is only a temporary fix. Your best bet is to just get a new one. I got to mine by pulling the headliner down in the middle of the driver's door and then just pushed it back up when I was done.
