Update:

Per @Geotrash recommendations (I think it was him), I also grabbed ARP exhaust manifold studs, new oem front-diff dogbones, and a new oem transmission mount.

Told the tech I'd give him $250 to do it all while the trans is out.

Got my truck back from the dealership yesterday afternoon
Reman'd trans and t-case
Circle D 3200 installed
Trans and t-case filled with Amsoil ATF
Diff fluid exchanged with Amsoil

Dropped it off with the tuner yesterday evening. Now I wait.
Any suggestions for additional things to add/enable with HPTuners?

Guess who's back.
Back again.
Tahoe's back.
Tell a friend.

Bit lazy with the 3200 stall and 3.08 gears, so I've found my next mod.

Speaking of next mods, I ordered a 40k that will be here tomorrow. I saw a high of 217° in stop and go traffic. While this is "high", the Amsoil Signature Series fluid is rated for WELL over that, so I'm not concerned.

After doing the math, a 40k is exactly what is needed to drop that 217° to 177° at the hottest.

The formula is:
BTU=GPM*210*TempDelta

In this instance, the trans cooler lines are rated for a max of 5 gpm of flow

In my case, 5*210*40=42,000. The 40k is rated for 45,000 BTU, meaning it will actually drop that 217° to 175°.

Instead of using the thermostatic bypass that comes with certain models of TruCool, I'll be adding one of these later this year, with all new 6an lines from trans to cooler.

You only have 3.08 gears? Thought these with the 6 speed came with 3.42
Unfortunately not. The 3.08's are the "luxury" gears and boy are they lazy. LOTS of downshifting on inclines, or even to pass quickly. I wanted to get into a set of 3.73's already, but this has made that want far more pronounced.

Now I just need to figure out if I can direct swap from Silverado's, or if the rear axle tube is different.
