Question: Why didn't GM go back?? Redesigned the trucks to look similar to classical model with the modern touch like what Dodge did with the Challenger?

You don't think GM went back to its roots? The new silverado has the quad headlamps like they used to in 1988-1998.

I guess it has been too long since I looked at new vehicles, especially Cadillac's. $80k plus for an SUV. WTF? I see more Escalade's around my wife's school than anything else, and most of the people in that neighborhood are on public assistance. I must be doing something wrong.

Not really ... one can pick up a high mileage 07 esky for about $25-$28K.

Never mind that they can't afford the fuel or the repairs ...
