BTW, you don't need or have to get relocation brackets. Yes they help. But unless your LCA are hitting frame, there not holding you up. Ran for awhile without them, no problems. But they do help get LCA parallel to ground, which helps. Same with shorter sway links, buy those help with sway quite a bit. Like you said, look at new shocks.

I also worried about spring pads, and removing them causing noise. But over 3+ yrs no problems, no noise or issues. And not saying Belltech SP shocks are bad. Have on front, soft and nice, but haven't seemed to..never mind. But personally, would go for stiffer, better options. But just my opinion, and what I like n think.

I'll have to get back up underneath the Yuk and think about it. Part of the reason why the metal on metal contact doesn't sit well with me is because the Yuk is the first on-road vehicle I've had. The other 7 have been lifted trucks and rock crawlers. Being that we were always in mud and dirt, everything would croak, squeak and just be plain annoying to listen to going on the trails.

After seeing everyone else with pretty much leveled trucks, I thought it was a little odd that mine wanted to still have a slight rake. It'll be solved soon, for sure!

Uhhhhh.... I THINK the front was 36" and the rear was 37 3/4". That was after the alignment. I'm running 305/35/24 Nexen Roadians.

Hmm, so you have both drop shocks AND shock extenders. Interesting.... That's fine that you didn't get a measurement when you removed and installed everything. It gives me something to mess around with.

In McGaughy's 5" drop kit was the RLCA relocation brackets, swaybar end links, springs and all of the necessary nuts and bolts. No shock extensions were found.

I absolutely love the way my Yuk rides as well! It's so smooth and predictable now. I just am not pleased with the stance, at the moment. haha.
I ran 295/35/24s for awhile and still loved the ride. They don't include the shock extenders in the kit it was just something personally I wanted to try to give my shocks a better angle and I feel like it helped out with the ride too

I have this same issue with my Burb. I'm running the NIVOMAT shocks with DJM extenders. I sit at 31.5 up front and around 32.25 in back. I want to lose at least another inch out back to give me some lean. Currently trying to to debate on bags or Tony's springs. I just don't want to tie up the money when I know my ultimate goal is to lay the rockers on the ground.

WhiteOuts, right about not having to use relocation brackets… but would guys agree he does need the offset end-links?? Or his sway bars gonna hit the panhard bar…

Ya, shorter end links will really help with rear sway. Also offset will get the sway bar moved over to clear bracket. Knobz, I do agree they are more needed.

Ya, pretty sure he said he did. Was just answering Knobz.

And again.. Not saying you shouldn't get relocation brackets. They get RLCA more parallel to ground, which helps, and farther away from frame. Just saying, if there not hitting the frame, it's not holding you up.
