Juice..is the wheel clear coated with a polished surface ?
On my Dodge ram, i have a polished wheel that WAS cleared. Aerosol paint stripper and 20 minutes later the powerwasher took care of that.
Now, about 2 times a year i polish them and a coat of wax when needed.
Didnt even remove tires and i drove it to and from the carwash to do it.
I'm actually the one with the peeling wheels. They are both polished and painted black , and the clear coat is peeling off the black painted sections. So stripping the clear coat would also remove the paint

I have a wheel guy who made me a great deal on re-finishing the wheels for my BMW. I have been thinking about seeing what he says about the wheels on my Yukon. If it's less than let's say $600 then it might be worth re-finishing them, but if it's more then I might as well get different wheels that I actually love.
