I am getting tired of the lack of sidewall on my 22s, so I'm planning to step down a wheel size to either 20s or 17s and wrapping them in A/Ts. I love the stock look, so if I went with 20s it would be the new style LTZ rims. But then I considered 17s. My truck is WDT, so the issue is that I don't think any wheel color besides chrome would look right. Does anyone think chromed replicas of LS or LT wheels (e.g. here and here), wrapped in some 285 or 275 KO2s, leveled, would look good on my Suburban? Or any other suggestions appreciated. Here's a pic, stock height with stock 22s on 285/45r22s.

If it were me, I would drop down to a 20" wheel, level, and up the tire size just a bit. That will give you some more sidewall without making the Burb look like a work truck.

Since you're downsizing, I'm virtually certain you could trade your 22's for 20's with little or no cost to you (you could probably make some money, actually). If you decide you still want more sidewall, you could make the same trade with the 20's for 18's.

Thanks man. My main problem with the OEM 20s has actually been finding them at a decent price. I want this style, which is apparently pretty rare. They never show up on local craigslist. Every once in a while a genuine set pops up on Ebay, but generally for $1200+. Even replicas are $1000+. Not sure how much my 22s are worth but with the few nicks and rash they have I'd imagine less than $1000.

Took the side moldings off and gave her a well over due bath. Lift and tires are next
