thinking of selling, wondering what it's worth?

I sold a truck in that area about 8 years ago with 65K for a 5 year old truck and listed it modded with little interest...put it back to stock, and got blue book for it in that area....I think the reason he wanted to know the area is because prices vary a lot from town to town...plus with all the vehicle taxes in cali, people probably don't want to pay as much to keep it registered. And with all the hippies and ecars these days, big assault vehicles aren't highly sought after.

It's a nice burb for sure. An enthusiast still wouldn't pay the amount you're looking to get out of it. It's sad to say, but like others have said...no hurt in listing it and seeing what bites you get. Only problem with that are a bunch of lookie-loo people come to look at it. But I guess that's the price you pay if you want to sell it on the private market.

Maybe before 2008 you could have had a chance to get close to what you want. Things have changed so much in the used car industry.

You will be better off removing your mods and selling them individually, then selling your truck in stock form. You can always make a deal with a buyer to sell the "goodies" for extra. Unfortunately, you mods don't increase the value. Your repair records will help you sell it for the "excellent condition" private party price if the truck really is in great condition.

All wheel drive is a 70/30 power split between the rear and front axles and it is full time. There's no 2 wheel drive switches. You are correct, the transfer case does not have a low gear, but the transmission does. I haven't done much off roading, but there's no other vehicle that makes me feel safer driving in snow than my AWD denali xl. The 4wd transfer cases I believe have more of a chance to fail because of the switching ability. There's solenoids and electrical crap that could go bad.
