Is there a way to disable this or is there a third brake light online anyone recommends that’s standard? 2015 Tahoe LTZ and the brake light flashes. I hate it! I searched the forum but didn’t find anything but I’m sure it’s been posted before. Thanks!

If you're talking about the brake light flashing a few times and then goes to solid after the initial press, this is some extra crap that some of the dealers installs automatically as an upcharge. There is a module installed inline near the rear of the vehicle that you can take out.

Wow! And I went to the trouble of installing one!
Anyway, just pull off the large "U" shaped plastic trim at the top of the rear gate glass (inside the vehicle) and you'll probably find the module wired inline (12v and ground) running up to the HMSL. Remove it, reconnect the wires properly and all should be steady.

When I picked up my new company car (Escape) last month, the dealer told me they accidentally installed one on my car. Apparently all the fleet cars they supply to a certain rental company get the feature, and they grouped my car in that lineup. It's somewhere up under the trim cover behind the brake light - I just haven't had the energy to pop the trim off and loom for it and disconnect.
