Be careful sandblasting those wheels. Blasting them can pit them far beyond any paint or powdercoat could ever cover up. Its best to get them chemically stripped down to the nickel I believe. Downside is chemical stripping is a lot more costly and not a lot of places do it for environmental reason, which reflects in the price as well. I was quoted a little over $100 a wheel by one of maybe three places in the Portland area for my 20's. I talked talked to powdercoaters, anodizers and my friends who work at tire shops and they all said you're rolling the dice if you sandblast them.

That being said, you got them for so cheap that its still a great deal with whatever method you choose to remove the chrome.

My 2 cents, competition gray looks good on anything
