I have a slight vibration at high speeds and while trying to rule out the wheel bearings; I noticed that the left front wheel sounds completely different than the right front. The right front is quiet and spins with less effort, while the left front makes more of a mechanical/clicking sound.

Is this normal?

Thanks,

In case anyone was wondering; I brought it to the dealer and they recommend replacing the driver front axle shaft for $915!! They said GM has seen this before! Of course they do; shortly after my warranty expires! 44kmiles currently.

Axel shafts are part of the Powertrain coverage and are 5yr/60K miles, from the warramty booklet, see below and go back to dealer...

It may or may not help but you could call GM and open a case. Good luck and it looks like it should be covered for sure.
