had a grinding noise, front passenger. Jacked it up, lots of play in the hub. Timken or Moog?
any reasons why, besides price?

the shop that services all our work trucks was able to get it in right away. I asked him to get the timken, he said he will try.
Perfect timing though, as i made the u turn to pull into his shop, i felt a pop and it started howling something nasty.
What is surprising, i havent had a long lead up of symptoms. got some slight grind no more than 2 days ago.

Yeah, it can happen quickly once it starts happening. Glad you're able to get it in.

I've got two, also, to put on either this weekend or next along with a quick brake job.

the shop called, timken installed. Its amazing how fast it can be with the right tools and experience.
I dont currently have a garage, in the design phase. If i had to do it at home, would have been in the gravel and a whole lot of swearing. Assuming the rain held off.

* turned out, the timken was for their own shop truck. His supplier didnt have any on hand. good dude.
