Just a few weeks ago I replaced both tensioners on my burb and it was worth it and may resolve your issue. I just did the full assemblies and not just the pulley. Figured might as well while I was there.
Pretty sure I replaced the complete arm maybe a yr ago. The original had marks on it, this one doesn't.

Did you do ANYTHING related to the belt or pulleys shortly before they started coming off? Have they been coming off since the alternator swap 1 1/2 years ago or has the problem started more recently?

My daughter and her friends are big on Bob Ross, as well. Lol.
Fun fact: Bob Ross, Master Sgt, USAF.

You could also try a strobe light. The printing press guys use them all the time to slow stuff down and see what's going on.
Timing light.... i know tonys got one

Just started recently, within past few months. I haven't done anything recently to cause it.

LOL, I still have one in a box in the basement, along with the dwell meter for setting the points. Fond memories. The GMs were so much easier with the window in the distributor cap and the Allen adjustment screw for the dwell.

Lol. I have one somewhere, too. The strobes the press mechanics use are big guns like radar gun. Pull the trigger and it's an instant dance party with adjustable speed. It's crazy watching watching high rpm things in slow mo.
