Get a pic of the wiring and connector. And pull that sensor and inspect it. They welded the bung with the sensor screwed into it, I can see the welding slag on it.

you are so right. both times i had a bung installed they used a old used up o2 to hold the bung when they welded it in. you over heat em nd they dead.

See if you have power on the drivers side cigarette port, if not the fuse is popped. the same fuse is used for obd communication

I have to tighten up the connections on the cable super tight. Otherwise, I get that all the time with mine.
Maybe try detaching, then reattaching the cable (both ends), and make sure to tighten down the screws as tight as you can (only with your fingers!) you can even wiggle the adapter back and forth a bit while you’re doing this, to get even more force on it.

Take the tech2 apart, blow on the connectors like a Nintendo 64 and put it back together, try again.
