I actually was able to limp it to a garage, and he put it on the lift. He said it looked like it popped off because the black plastic ring that locks the clip in, was missing. Who knows...
Cool. You musta been super close to the garage if you were able to limp there while pissing out Trans fluid lol

glad it was just the clip and he got ya fixed back up. Still pretty odd, eh?

Yeah, thank God I was that close. I'm glad it wasn't anything more serious--I've got enough on my plate.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence it happened right after he got his O2 bung welded on, which happens to be right next to the trans cooler line. And I think they also wrecked his brand new O2 sensor that he just installed days ago by threading it into the bung and THEN welding it on instead of using an old sensor or other means. It’s just like the shops around Tony to do that, they’re apparently all run by idiots with idiot mechanics. But hey what do you expect for $100? For them to NOT **** something up? At least he caught the trans leak before the thing burned itself up from lack of fluid! You’re lucky Tony! Feel better? :yaoface2:

Yeah, I’d definitely replace both O2 sensors and start fresh there even tho one was new just a couple weeks ago.

I just hate people. I called the shop who did it and the owner happened to pick up. I explained to him--nicely what happened. He said " I'm not fixing anything, you wanted a new bung put in, and that's what I did. Fix it yourself". I started to tell him off but he immediately hung up on me. THANK GOD I didn't go there in person! If I did, and he said that to my face--ON MY KID'S--I would not be here right now because I'd be in jail--for breaking his jaw. Needless to say I was so pissed--I didn't know what to do. I didn't want or need to do something stupid, so I just wrote a "Great" review on his site. I'm a nice guy until I'm pushed--or I feel like I'm being taken advantage of--I'm getting too old for this! BTW--I believe everything that happened today was because of what he did.

Good thing, Tony. Stay calm, we’ll help you figure this out. It’s gonna be all right buddy. :birgits_tiredcoffee:console:

Might want to see if that O2 sensor works and, if it does, monitor it for a little while. It would be good if the a$$ didn't weld it to the bung. SMH
