Reading what you've gone through with your Tahoe so far as I've read is impressive.

You guys rack up the miles fast as I'm working out your backyard is a size!

Looking forward to seeing you add to your build thread. My Hoe starting out as something simple--in my mind--and morphed out of control. I do have to say it wouldn't be where it is right now without my fellow tyf brothers who have helped me relentlessly lol, and my loving fiancé Tracy.
I really hope I'll be able to enjoy it a little without friggin' breaking down for awhile!!

This is maybe the 2nd time, although very sporadically--that I've gotten a P0123 and a P2135. This is over a course of a few months. I clear the codes and it's fine. Runs fine. So idk, not sure if something is on its way out or what, although I wouldn't be shocked.

my 03 used to do that, I am pretty sure it was the throttle body, wasn't often enough to bother replacing it.

Hmmm....I replaced the tb on the original motor, I think back in 17. I bet he gave me an old one.

when I had a Granatelli maf installed the thing would throw all kinds of codes, throttle body codes, 02 codes, lean codes, misfire codes, put the stock maf back on and codes went away, just once in a blue moon the throttle body would goof up

That was with the 22's.

I forgot which brand the guy put on, but it worked great.

I had issues with a new MAF that I bought from Oreilly, house brand. I replaced it with a Delphi and all was well.

sounds like a bad throttle pedal position sensor. if not the one in the gas pedal. the mechanic (i use the term loosely) just might have swapped your old tb to the new engine if this has happened in the past. iirc you need the same part #'s for the two of them to work right.
