This had hot glue and Flex seal tape on it. Afterwards I put Gorilla tape all over it. Hopefully I'll have some ice col ac once he charges it.
I also had my son change the oil for me. Gotta admit was nice not having to climb under there to do it myself. There was some metal on the drain plug--I'm a little worried about that. View attachment 279336 View attachment 279337
This is the 2nd oil change since the new motor.
Hope it is nothing more than what he said, some rtv. Always nice when someone else wants to do the oil change. Nice work mike [emoji106]Idk--got it from Amazon.

There were some hard slivers--and some squishy stuff too.Is that hard pieces of metal or are they soft squishy pieces or RTV or some seal? I had a lot of stuff like that after a fresh motor but it was all excessive rtv
Man, I’d send a sample to Blackstone, explaining the new motor. Definitely don’t want that going south.. [emoji2959]There were some hard slivers--and some squishy stuff too.
Probably getting the lower grade of AC Delco parts. Gotta get the OEM pieces rather than the “professional” and lower gradesWaitaminute that’s gotta be counterfeit. All the Delco parts I’ve been seeing are from pacific rim countries.
Many of the original pieces say it too. Especially all the plastic trim and switches.Probably getting the lower grade of AC Delco parts. Gotta get the OEM pieces rather than the “professional” and lower grades
