When I finally figure out how to get my bb tune lol. I don't have a PC, really just my phone.
Same here, use fone for everthing. Unlimited data. Mirror onto the smart t.v for netflix, spotify. Pretty good. Big emails with attachments are a pain tho. [emoji106]

up here lots of places have free guest wifi. walk in, buy a coffee and dl your file. or send it first, you get the gist.
Hot spot isn't a problem, just gotta figure the procedure out.
Still need a pc for an Autocal. It can’t be done with a phone.
Our laptop can do it--just gotta figure out how. I plugged in the autocal to the obd and did some data logging while driving on the highway. Now....?

I could have sworn Mark gave you the specifics on the process to log data. You need to buy the tune if you haven’t yet. They email you the procedures. Then you email them your data log(s), they’ll send an initial tune, have you log more data, and then fine tune it. It’s a pretty smooth process.

I did log data on the autocal, now I just need to call BB and finish up the procedure.

Follow the instructions on their website step by step. It’s here. http://www.blackbearperformance.com/autocal_management.asp

id you save the file after data logging? Look at the instructions for copying files to and from your Autocal. You need to create a folder on the pc where you can store the data log and tune files. I have a folder I created for the Denali and in that folder I created a folder titled Autocal tuning files, then in that I keep the datalog files. Then I also created a folder I named “from Blackbear” and in that folder are my tunes that they sent me. You’ll need to be able to find these files and transfer them to and from the Autocal. Here’s some pics of the folders on my pc.

And you need to follow their instructions for data logging. You aren’t going to get a good tune by just logging on the highway. They tell you there needs to be a couple WOT pulls, etc. and I forget how long it needs to be- I think it’s 20 minutes of various driving- stop and go, WOT, cruising etc.

Edit: here’s the logging instructions.

“For the purpose of collecting an initial log file for tuning, we advise collecting at least 20-30 minutes of driving with varying rates of acceleration and speed. Full throttle operation is required for at least 3-4 second bursts to high RPM, even if you never drive that way. The only exception to that requirement is if modifications to the vehicle make it unsafe to run at full throttle without further tuning. While logging, please be cautious and aware of your surroundings and do not perform any driving maneuver that you would otherwise deem as unsafe or of questionable legal nature.”

It works, but I guess I need to get on the highway---to move some air. @Dantheman1540 what was your opinion on that metal on my drain plug? Think I need to worry about it?

It's amazing how lack of airflow will make AC feel completely broken.

I'd say it's not a huge concern unless the oil itself looked sparkly:elephant:. I'd like to have seen inside the oil filter because that tells a lot more than the drain plug but I don't think I'd worry about it either way. Plus theres not much you can do to fix it without major engine tear down and unless it developes other symptoms once again I wouldn't worry.
