She's gone.

I’m so sorry Tony. I went through this 3 years ago with my Husky after fighting cancer for over a year. It’s so hard, I know all too well.

I'm sorry to hear that Tony. I dread the day we lose our cat, Avy. She's 10 in June and like our child. I hope for many more years with her. Animals have such a big place in our hearts. I hope you get comfort knowing she's not suffering anymore. Again, I'm sorry to hear this.

Hard to believe how much you come to love them. I knew we loved her, but now that she's gone I realize how much we did.

I feel for ya, Tony. I teared up reading your posts, and all I can say is that you gave her a good life while you were together. Nothing better than that. I know you'll miss her, but I hope you'll enjoy the memories and the pics you have. Tell the stories and know that you did right by one of God's creatures. He sends them here to love and cherish, and that's what you did.

I was able to get this last reminder of my last doggie on that day. It was a year and half later when I got my current "best doggie ever".

Among all the other stuff I lost recently, this framed pic was the hardest.

I wish we would've thought of this. I just found a paw print on the floor from last night--her last night.
