Thanks @Fless. We really did love and cherish her--Immensly.

I wish we would've thought of this. I just found a paw print on the floor from last night--her last night.

Trying to think of a way to capture this: Maybe spray it with hair spray then, quickly before it dries, lay Saran wrap on it, gently press it, then lift it off and lay it on a sheet of white poster board or just printer paper then frame it. Might wanna have your gf hold the other side of the Saran wrap to keep it flat and wrinkle-free as you both lower it onto the print. I don't know how well this would work or if it's even a concern, but it was a thought.

man sorry to hear. that pic of the collar in your hand brought me right back to having to put my dog down. sucks to carry in your best friend and leave with a collar and a leash.

still have them and his food and water bowls and all his toys.

That picture of her collar was exactly how I feel--empty. She really was my best friend. Amazing how much you can love a dog, and they love you right back.

we lost this we girl to cancer 3 years ago. Ruby could say hello. Used to great with a big hello meow when I'd get home from work. Beautiful. 20170722_133343.jpgHer and Theo were like brother and sister. Has taken him ages to get over losing her. Reckon we're pretty lucky to have been able to have them in our lives.
