Agreed, 1st tuner was a moron.
This tuner had to disconnect my Pioneer DD radio. After doing that the tune downloaded with no issues. I asked why he didn't just take the fuse out. He said he wasn't sure if it was wired correctly and it was just easier to unplug the complete radio. Idk, but it worked out for him.
thats a common issue with aftermarket HU and flashing a tune, they create interference with in the system. even the factory radio can cause it to happen with this gen gm truck. like mine, i cant flash a tune on hi speed, have to use low speed. but your deal was different as it would work then quit when scanning the data log. as long as its all working right now, its all water under the bridge as they say lol

I'm just glad this guy was smart enough to figure it out.

Took the Tahoe to rehab today--just to get the fluids flowing. Ride there was fine--about 2-3 miles. Coming back all the sudden I lost the power steering. I knew what had happened! Threw the belt. Nice dude retrieved the belt for me. Looked at the belt and it split in the center between the ribs. Luckily I had a temporary/older spare with me, unfortunately I took all my tools out of the truck. I drove the last 1-1 1/2 miles without the belt. Whenever I had a straight road I'd shut it down and cruise it in neutral, then start it again to get moving, then shut it down again. This is nothing new for me. Got home and put the temporary belt on. All is good--so far. Now I just need a new belt.

Tried driving the Hoe last night. I had replaced the serpentine belt maybe a week ago. I bought the same belt that was on there, which was a little bigger then stock because the original size didn't fit, due to me getting a larger output alternator. The original sized belt wouldn't go on, it was too small after the new alternator. I'd, maybe the pulley was a different size. While driving it I got the "Hot Coolant Temp". Would a wrong sized belt cause it to overheat? Maybe due to the belt slipping? The belt also squealed a few times while accelerating--which its never done before? I was thinking of getting the original sized belt to see if it would fit this time.
