I have a mix of Snap-on, Matco and craftsman, most being Snap-ON

Thats an awesome working station/bench set up. And i dont think i have ever seen that many vise grips in one collection, thats just great.

Hmmm I have been using the same craftsman sockets for 20 years and no failures and yes I do use them. I work on high speed machinery. Now there ratchets suck. I've had 2 blow out. But they were replaced the same day free of charge. lol I guess craftsman is like Jaguar you need 2 incase one breaks down. One day my tools might grow up to be snap-ons but I doubt it.

Exactly craftsman sockets= great Ratchets=suck.

we just talking mechanics tools?

mainly craftsman and Allen (allen is made by the same parent company the craftsmans come out of) bosch for power. and then thers a mix of odd and end brands from work for the "use it once applications"

anyone else have any of the gearwrench socket sets? the ones that are open through the center? have yet to break any of them and they really have come in handy.

For what I do I use Craftsman hand tools... Greenlee and Klein for my electrical needs... and Dewalt for my power tools. My best friend at work though is my Fluke Multimeter. I cannot say enough for my 18v Dewalts drills though... I kick the hell outta them, thats both my standard drill and my right angle. I dont us pnumatics at work but personal use is all Inger.

well, my tools are quite a scattering of things i have been accumulating over the years since high school, lots of craftsman (most of which were hand me downs from my Pops) I have a huge husky wrench and driver set, a bunch of other god knows what brande tools (screw drivers, wrenches, loose sockets, and other misc items that float around in the bottom drawer)

As for power tools, i have been a carpenter for quite a long time now and i dont buy anything but DeWalt for cordless tools(just wish the batteries lasted a bit longer). Hitachi air tools are also great (i am regering to nailers)

Ridgid puts out a pretty nice prodcut

craftsman and Pittsburgh (harbor freight brand)... the ratchets from both brands suck but both have a lifetime warranty and everything else is good. May pick up a snap on ratchet this weekend :p

All (98%) Snap-on, except for some work specific stuff, that's mostly Daniels (wire crimping stuff)
And of course my trusty Fluke multi-meter, and an older MAC meter.
