I'm jealous... I have a little bit of everything, nothing fancy or pricy but I have everything I need to get what I need done. I had a Matco rollaway tool box fully stocked worth 15k at one point but someone decided they needed it more than me and swiped it..
Damn man, that's ******.
Years ago I had that happen to me about a week after I bought a new MAC tool chest and loaded it with all my old tools and a few new ones I just bought. The shop was robbed and they swiped my tool chest along with a lot of equipment and a 76 Caddy I was getting ready for the Daytona Spring Break Nationals (I was living in Fla at the time).

Insurance cut me a check for new tools, but only what I had receipts for. That's when I bought my current Snap-On chest. Sucks cuz I had to downsize the toolchest so I could have enough money left to replace the tools insurance didnt cover.

Craftsman is the way to go. Not to outrageously priced and durable. I learned the hard was using those cheap tools.

Yeah, Really easy when the box rolls away, makes them easier to swipe. I'm afraid to drop the amount of coin it would take to get a good tool collection, afraid to see the bottom line on what the cost would be so I'll have to make due with what I have. They haven't let me down yet and that's the bottom line.

That's the worst, getting robbed at gunpoint, gives you the feeling of helplessness, fear of getting shot and anger that the ******* don't have the balls to take your shit heads up. I had a car taken from me at gunpoint in Cali in the early 90's and that's what I felt. We are here and cool so that's what matters right?

First off, tool thieves suck! I had a 8k box roll out of one of my first shops I worked at, no insurrance thru the company...

On that not, my collection now sucks since I finished paying off my stolen tools 2 years ago. I am all about Craftsman handtools and electric. Air tools are assorted based on what I found for a good price when the time came to get them.

For those looking for new tools join the craftsman club. In their catalog they now sell their tools in modules so it makes it easier to get what you need without too many duplicates and lets you pick the specialty tools of your choice. Also their catalogs oftern have stuff you won't find in your local sears
