Hi there!

This is my first post in the forum. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I´ve got a Tahoe LT 98' and I'm looking for an alternative to improve the hardness of the front suspension to avoid stomach aches when I hear the suspension hitting every time I do off road and pass a bump at more than 10 miles/hour...

Any experience in this forum of conversion from torsion bars to coilovers?

It would also be useful to get any recommendation on dual shock installation kit!

Cheers,
MR

Is it your suspension hitting or your tires scrubbing? It sounds like the latter.

If you've got a 2-3" lift and your tires are large enough to need a bigger lift, it can certainly happen. Based on the pic you posted, I can see you scrubbing on a sufficiently large bump. While the 2-3" lift is probably more than sufficient for your street use, off-roading typically presents "opportunities" to exercise and exceed boundaries of any suspension (at low or high speed).
