Air in the coolant system?

If there was air it wouldn't go down to 210 so quickly as it does .

You have a Tru-Cool 40k installed too right? If there was air it wouldn't go down to 210 so quickly as it does .
The strange part is when I pull over it goes from 240 to 210 on the guage in no time and I can continue on for a little bit before it goes up again

The gauge is programmed to act like that so as not to send the soccer moms into the dealerships.
So it goes up to 240 with no warnings then too ? It held the temp fine at idle once we got got gas and fans were spinning loud . Idk why at highway speeds it would over heat if at idle it's fine and comes down
