Im getting the gears soon! i actually have 275 55 R20 tires lol also which should i get the aftermarket gears or the oem ones and will i need a retune?

You'll need to retune to get the speedo and shift timing corrected. The pcm will think you're going faster than what you really are and will shift earlier than normal. The tcc may lock up too early and cause it to bog just a bit if you're lightly cruising.
Most performance aftermarket gears will hold up and take the shock of hard launches better than oem gears.
Get a set of wheels/slicks for the track if you can. Before I swapped gears, I was only spinning through 2nd gear. With the new gears, I've spun the tires all the way thru 3rd:
