If you have no warranty or cannot return them try the metal resistors. You can get them from ebay or Amazon. Jacob 07burb has them as well.

As I said earlier though...... the problem may be in the lights.

I had this issue with my g4's and put in the correct gold metal resistors that are on autolumination.com and the problem went away. It's an easy fix...

Cool thanks! Do I need 3 or 6 ohm??

Well, I think I got it! Looks like it was loose ground in the light plug itself!

This can be caused by a few things...

1. Loose ground like you say you found :)
2. If your reverse light burns out it'll cause the light to hyperflash
3. The "resistors" that come wired into the lights go bad and you need to buy better resistors. I bought new resistors before I ever installed my G4's and have been happy. I got them from vled.com.

So just some things to keep in mind. I've had my G4's for over two years now with zero issues.

Thanks man! If I decide to do the resistors as precaution. Do I need the 3 or 6 ohm?? I looked at your thread! And couldn't quiet zoom in enough in the pic, but it looked like 6 ohm.

Let me take a look for you. I think I went with 3 ohm, though. I'll look and confirm for you when I get a chance :waytogo:
