Ok got my truck back. New computer new sensors and still runs horrible. Mechanic said I need a distributor. So I just took my truck. It idles fine runs fine until about 2500 rpms then it runs like crap. Idk what to do now. Im thinking maybe I should try turning the distributor a little and see if that helps. Any more suggestions?

Totally got off the trans subject. I just want it to run good before I tackle that. Sorry

Scan your truck, P1345 probably. Can do alot of strange stuff like make your trans feel bad. Some of the Bluetooth scanners and Torque app work for that,BAFX I think it was. About $20.00/+5.00. Adjust distributor.

Rockauto, United distributor. Buy a Gm or United premium brass cap.

I took it to another mechanic one that I know will do a good job and find the problem. I was trying to save money by going to a different one. Well $1500 later and it's where it should of been in the first place. Funny thing is I smelled fuel real bad when I dropped it off and the first mechanic replaced just about everything that had to fo with fuel.
