The exhaust on my 99 Yukon SLE (4 door) was OEM y-pipe, dual cats, 2 into the muffler and 1 out.

The new Y-pipe is 2" ID to the cats and to the muffler flange. The cat back is dual in and single out to 3"

Plenty of back pressure for sure.
My 98 Yukon doesn't have a Y pipe, it's just 2 pipes, 2 cats. They don't connect until the flowmaster.

Before you tune it, make sure all of your maintenance and desired power adders are installed prior to the tune.....unless you want to pay to tune it more then once

a good tuner will offer free retunes

@jerryjoe28 that's why I said "besides a full tune" I'm looking for something that would wake it up (something other than a tune).

I have intake, exhaust, and a full ignition to the motor also have a built trans and gears...... with the exception of the gears none of those mods really made a huge difference without the tune

Next week is a new fuel pump and final dial in on my new distributor........can't wait to have it 100%

Agree with you on the free tune updates; thats what my tuner does. I can't wait to tune mine.

With my intake, exhaust, full ignition and swap of all fluids over to Royal Purple I can't wait to see whats still left on the table to play with.
