Im looking at options for my storage area and would like to see photos of installs if you've got them too. I carry welding rods, abrasives wheels, tools, etc with me daily for work but on weekends I have to clean it all out to get my dog crate and dog training gear in there....so Im in desperate need of some sort of floor drawer system that I can organize all my samples in but then put my dog gear on top to train twice a week and on weekends so Im not rushing around, throwing stuff here n there. So far looking at Tuffy, Truck Vault (thanks to this thread) and SUV Cargo caddy. ....maybe I just need a new truck! ;-)

Does anyone have one of these and can tell me what kind of drawer slides are used? Are the slides on the bottom?

well, he**. According to AutoAnything, the suv cargo organizer isnt available for the 09 Yuke. Id sure like to spend less if I could because I'll probably trade it in next year. :-/ I wonder if I buy the better ones if I could sell them used for a decent amount when I trade it....I suppose I should be able to.

got truck vault quote today....$2600. If I pay that much it will be in a brand new vehicle and for a lot more storage, that seems crazy

The drawers are a very expensive specialty item. You're correct that it's best to purchase one if you're getting a new or almost-new vehicle that you plan to keep for a long, long, long time.
