Welcome to the forum and do you have a theft deterrent system?
How can i tell if i have theft detterant? Is there fuses for it or? Do you think putting wrong wattage leds could cause issues with that?

that means nothing, a click and no start means bad starter or low voltage, they can be bad out of the box
bench test to verify.
It did that with 2 starters one of which was bench tested and same thing something is restricting it from cranking

Everything worked fine it was just running before the bulbs were put in so i doubt the starter just took a crap after working just fine after a bulb was replaced

no reason a bulb is going to cause the starter to not work, but you can do a voltage drop test, connect a meter to the starter positive wire (at the starter) then put the other end of the meter at the battery negative, try to start and see what the voltage reads, if it drops to 10.5v or less bad cable or low voltage if it reads 10.5 or above bad starter.
you can also ohm test the ground from starter to battery it should basically read 0

Ok i will try both of those. Is.there anything other than bad cable or ground that would not allow starter to go? Theft detterant a possibility? What else could cause the system to drain so quickly?

no, the security function would not stop the starter from working, it would start and die from lack of fuel, it turns the fuel pump off

jumping the starter can be done with cables but isnt ideal. either way the point is to bypass the solenoid on the starter and force it to try to turn the engine. if your going to try with cables clamp the ground to the starter mounting bolt and touch the positive cable off the opposite large lug the battery is connected too. normal method is to use something to jump the 2 large lugs on the starter. where the battery connects and the opposite one that feeds the motor itself. on the off chance something odd did happen with these magical bulbs have you attempted to undo what you did in the back of the truck? as mentioned previously bulbs shouldn't be stopping it from starting however going round and round chasing gremlins that started after. anyway jumping your starter will give you and us some direction. if you jump the starter with a good voltage at the ready and it still wont turn over but the starter bench tests fine it could just be binding on your flywheel. did this new starter come with a shim plate and if so did you use it or not.

Maybe your lights blew a fuse? There is one fuse that can cause no-crank/no-start... The PCM B fuse.
A long shot, but check that fuse.

Bench test can be done removing the starter and using a battery and jumper cables.

Might be good to go though the under hood and in cabin fuse blocks and check fuses anyway. Doesn't cost anything to rule out a blown fuse somewhere.
