Trying to pinpoint undercarriage noise?

Over the last 2 months my Tahoe has developed a moderately loud "clunking" sound coming from underneath when traveling at lower speeds (-20mph). I've crawled around underneath and can't seem to find it and it's been hard to duplicate the sound as it seems to happen very randomly. Any ideas or suggestions?
Oh it's 2011 LT 4x4 with 56,700 miles on it

Does it only happen when you are turning at low speeds?

If not turning then maybe your transmission is making that clunking sound when it shifts at low speeds.

It mainly happens coming and going in parking lots, and over speed bumps or potholes at lower speeds. Head on approach and turning I have noticed it.

My 07 escalade does the same thing. It has something to do with the components that are adjusted during and alignment. I just cant think of what its called right now. If you do a google search you will find this issue and it seem to be very common.

Check the front sway bar end links. They'll usually 'jingle' when missing some of the rubber bushings, but could cause a clunk at times.

I just had the SAME thing fixed. The other guy is right. My alignment cam bolts were loose. I could turn them with a wrench! Had it aligned again and they tightened them down and this solved it.

Thanks for the info I will look into that...but I did notice it seems to come from the rear of the truck

Just an update..I had the alignment cam bolts checked and they were slightly loose, but they were tightened and the noise is still there...It actually seems to be getting worse and not just when turning.
