ok so for starters its a 4dr 99 4wd 5.7l and when i got this 5 month ago some one had tore it all to S#*% and i have been fixing all the problems. when i got it the tail lights didnt even work at all ( along with several other things including the brakes etc.)however i got the tail lights to work by taking all the wires in the back attached to the trailer wiring harness and splicing them back together since they were all cut and frayed (only god knows how the idiots accomplished that). but i found two wires i could not ID and they were so i just tucked them away they are about 12 gauge and are blue and bright orange. Also i have just replaced the turn signal/cc/windshield wiper switch in the steering column, also have replaced both the tail light boards and bulbs and fuses. so the problem lies in the faact that the turn signals do not show up on the dash nor do the flashers however, the flashers work and click only in the rear. the turn signals dont work front or rear. And my brake lights all work in the rear so ....... what is the problem ?????

p.s i know yall will say search but i have been and cant find any thing particular to my situation and idk if this has anything to do with it but for some reason about a month after i got it the day time running lights quit on me any help there would also be appreciated thanks guys

there is a red and dark blue wire for battery power and an auxilary lead. in the same spot. May be the colors are slightly off from age. Here are some diagrams to help.

thanks im gonna go back there and double check my splices! and i went my a u haul place today and asked them to look at it(i didnt really know who else would look at a trailer light hook up and know anything about it lol) anyway he told me that those two where for hooking up trailer brakes thru a brake box or something like that. so your aux theory is probably right but that doesnt explain my turn signals failing to work at all the biggest thing that is getting me is the green blinkers are not even showing up on the dash even when the flashers in the rear(i say rear cause the ones in the front do not work as stated above) are on.
