Upper intermediate steering shaft

can someone link me to the permanent fix for the upper intermediate steering shaft ? I don’t want the oem fix I want to use the upgraded permanent fix. Thanks in advance. It’s for 2005’ 2wd Tahoe 5.3

Agreed. Just purchase a new one.
I went that route rather than just regreasing the OEM. Very happy with my replacement and no noise.

I took the 20 minutes to unbolt the lower from the intermediate, push it in and out about 100 times and just felt the clunk a tiny bit this week after a year. I will do it again this week and be good for another year.
