Every once in a while when I hit a pretty good bump or seam in the road, I get this hollow vibration noise (kind of like when a car with loud base vibrates the sheet metal). I can't figure out where it is coming from. Has anyone else experienced this?

I hear that crap too, only when my window is down.
I think it may have something to do with the rear lift gate and/or lift glass.

I'm fanatical about rattles, and this is driving me insane!! I also have a rattle in my passenger rear door. Argh!

I wonder if just placing random strips of dyno mat around the car would eliminate a lot of that. Like a nice strip in each door, the rear hatch, a couple on the rear floor. You know, nothing crazy like lining the interior. No time or money for that.

2 07 Tahoes, and the 08 yukon have the passenger door rattle, especially when accelerating at a certain rpm, but the Nali doesn't have that issue :)

I have a rattle underneath the driver dash/fuse box... I haven't taken the time to look at it... Only rattles at like 65mph gets very annoying. I have an 08.

I can't stand those rattles either. If you do that and it solves the problem let me know!

My 09 denali has a rattle from the passenger door or passenger pillar. I can't tell for sure where but I'm too embarrassed to let anyone ride there to tell me where it is coming from. I'm hoping it will go away on its own like the rattle in the driver's door and the rattle in the dash cluster..... for 60K I was expecting more.....

For me it happens when it seems like the car should upshift to accelerate faster. Not sure if that's what happens to you.

no it is the standard rattle when going over bumps at any speed. but doesn't do it all the time. if anything it seems to do when first driving in the morning or after work and then stops after awhile.
