When i need parts like starters water pump and alternators i stay away from autozone and advance auto. I used to be a mechanic and at one time we would install customer supplied parts.

We stopped because people would go the cheap route and buy from advance and autozone because we would end up replacing the part multiple times due to failure. Not always but it happened often enough that we got sick of it.

I use napa parts when it comes to the parts you really have to depend on. They cost more but in my opinion peace of mind is priceless.

Thanks, that is exactly why I asked the Q. NAPA has always been solid.

Lifetime warranties are great but if the pump goes bad and you end up with damage to the engine, who pays for that!?! ...and have fun gett'n paid.

Not to mention the time and the hassle of doing the repair again.
I don't mind paying a little xtra, it's usually worth it.

I'm looking at a product made by GMB but still collecting recommendations

With all that was mentioned above, why don't you not just go and buy GM parts and be done with it? Then you know you got what you pay for and should not have any issues in case anything should go wrong?

That is at least my opinion and I have never gone wrong with this route.

I would go w/ GMpartsdirect or a Rockauto AC Delco water pump myself. Not work saving a few dollars and getting a knock-off brand for such and important part.

Water pumps, heater cores, radiators, starter and alternators etc.

GET OEM AC DELCO

I have had many repeat failures with Autozone crap.

Heck one time on a Astro had gone through 4 sets of shoes. Evey time it would rain shoes would grab when applied. Finally got Delco brakes and fixed

Cheap crap like shocks belts etc get what you want
