Every time it rains I get a loud sloshing sound in the roof. It sound like water is pooling up around the front of the sunroof and wind is blowing it around? Does this happen to everyone else? How can this be fixed? I've never experienced this with any other vehicle before. Could it be that drain plugs are clogged and the water is not draining properly?

We drove from Florida this weekend and I had to listen to this for 7 hours! It continues to make this sound hours after a rain. Has happened since it saw its first rain. Yet another strange annoyance of the new 2021 models.
Thanks,

At least it didn't slosh all over you! Warranty fix.

Please keep everyone here updated on this since you're driving a '21. Pretty unacceptable, assuming there's a problem and you didn't just duck tape a drink to the roof.

2015 Tahoe, 2017 Suburban, and 2019 Suburban I could hear the water draining around the sunroof.... 250K+ miles....they exhibited the same sound when it rained. Ordering a 2021 Yukon this time.

My 2021 Yukon Denali does this, it actually sounds like a pop or clicking or slurping sound when you drive over 40mph after it's rained until all the water is gone. It sounds to me like when you are drinking a drink with a straw and it's almost gone.

Wow...between this and the other 2021 thread where it won't go into N...made me rethink buying a 2021!

If it is any consolation, I have spent 250k+ miles in these vehicles and have yet another one on order with the plan to put another 100K on one. If you have the radio on, you probably wouldn't notice it at all the majority of the time. Tires and brakes and these things just run forever. I have zero worries about ordering a 2021.

You know what they say- never buy the first production year. There’s a few things that the 2021’s are suffering from, add this to the list. Hopefully GM will get these issues figured out by the next model year. Until then, a few visits to the dealer will be in order.
