I've searched for info, but found none that's close to my current situation. So I have a 2002 yukon denali 6.0, that when i drive it normally, I hear no noise, ever. However if I drive spiritedly, when it's at higher rev's, it makes this plastic fluttering noise, kind of like when you stuck a plastic bottle in your back tire when we were kids. As soon as the transmission shifts, the noise goes away. Been doing this for a year now, if i use a product like rislone, it makes it quiter, but never goes away.

Chevron 93+, or kroger premium. I went to go check the manifold bolts, all intact. However, I did notice that there's alot of play on that vortec 6000 engine cover. No matter how much I tighten it, I can't get rid of the slack.

Thinking on this one, is it possible you are hearing this thing buzz around when the airflow under the hood increases? You have a fan and clutch setup on that year I believe, so the airflow can change significantly with RPM. Have you tried removing the cover and do a process of elimination

These are some good suggestions. I have had the "plastic chattering" noise like you describe. One time it was when my AC compressor was failing and the compressor was locking up over 3k rpms, causing the AC belt and tensioner to flail and loudly chatter. I even BROKE 3 AC belt tensioners before I finally gave in and replaced the actual compressor.
The 2nd instance I had a plastic chattering sounding noise it, AND it was only on acceleration, it turned out to be my fan hitting the fan shroud. I had a bad engine mount, and the torque from the engine accelerating was making the engine jump up a bit because of the bad engine mount. I replaced both engine mounts and all was well. I've since swapped over to E-fans, so I shouldn't have that problem anymore regardless.
