Weird thumping sound from front end

The big question is which hubs to purchase? Local parts store or dealer which I know will be sky high. My vehicle has 120k miles and they failed.

Rock auto has timkins for ~200...that said, I've been having good luck with the mevotech stuff, and it seems to be pretty highly respected.... those are 113, fronts, right now on RA.

That's around the mileage when they go. Timken is the OE supplier last time I checked and that is what I and others here use. Remember to change the 35mm nut and torque it to 177 ft lbs. The other four to 133 ft lbs. Timken PN# for 4WD or 2WD is SP500301. The Dorman axle nut is 36mm.

Some are tempted to go with less expensive and while the hardware may be just fine, the built in ABS sensors are junk and I had one on another vehicle that never worked and left the ABS light on.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I assume the axle nut would only apply to the 4WD vehicles.

Just got done doing my Driver side last week, and now my Pass side went today and I did it tonight... 4WD not a terribly hard job, just make sure to have the tools you need. Biggest thing I could have used was a long breakerbar for the hub nut. You may have to soak the hub with PBlaster or your penetrating oil of choice where it contacts the dustshield/spindle. Took about 4 hours(with interruptions and dinner) one hour was wasted on the hub nut(pass side)

If its the hub, you can jack it up and wiggle the wheels to find out.

Alternatively when driving, this usually works
or When Turning Left, you'll hear/feel get louder on the right side..
or when turning right, you'll hear/feel get louder on the left side...

I want to say it’s more noticeable when turning in a sweeping right. I did try wiggling the wheels but it seemed fine.

My passenger side did this but the driver's side is not doing that, just whomp whomp whomp.
