Truck was running a tad hot. When it cooled, I added a gallon of distilled to it. Couldn't find any obvious leaks and the water pump/hoses/t-stat were replaced in December 2014 (15k miles ago). Fearing Caster Head issue, took it back to the place that put the pump in. Small leak spotted on upper rad hose where it feeds the pump inlet. Crisis averted.

Probably could have seen it myself had I let it get to temp and checked, but fearing the worst, I just went straight to the shop less than two miles away and it held temp fine. Clamped the hose again and will keep an eye on it.

What makes that plug so hard to get changed out.

its @ the firewall. Exhaust manifold is in the way a bit so you are flying blind.

Honestly it only took me a few minutes more than any of the others. A handful of various extensions and a swivel made it pretty simple.

Nothing if you have the hands of a 6 yr old, and skin tougher than cowhide, because the A/C pan is sharp as F**k!

LOL.

Well I wore gloves, but I have decent sized hands.
