A little trick I see my tires guys do is they take a lighter and get the adhesive on the sticky wheel weights hot before sticking them on and they stick real good.
Thanks. That's a great idea. I have seen guys use gorilla tape over the weights and I am not a fan of that. I will use your idea thanks a lot

Yesterday drove 325 miles on the first long outing after the swap. Really happy with all the power the LQ9 has and not having to have my foot too the floor trying to do 75 mph. I was doing 80 mph and felt like I was doing 50 mph. Vast improvement. So good times till the weights started falling off of the 22" that I just put on Friday night. Felt like 4 square tires. Being a long weekend for us in Canada no one is open. So I have to stick around 60-65 where the shaking isn't so bad. I didn't think thoese stick on weights were going to last. They had a hard time making them stick the first time!! Dam it! Oh well. They look good and it was riding good till that happened. I don't know what people are complaining about the ride on 22" it's the same as my 17"??
I am in a small beach community not far off the shores Detroit on Lake Huron. Beauty full and the water is warm !!! The looks I am getting with the truck , people love the family mover.

After installing the new PCM from BlackBear and the relearn, I'm loving the new tune. This may sound weird, but the thing that I like the most is the quicker shifts. I chose the setting for firmer across the board. I'm not saying it shifts as smooth as a Mercedes, but compared to what it was before, it's pretty damn close. (compared to a clk 500 sitting in the driveway)

Thanks Black Bear Performance...it's like a new truck!

Well evidently the amp was blown too. So it's gonna get put on hold for the time being.
