Today I changed my oil and that gave me the chance to install my Femco oil drain system. And immediately I spotted a problem- since our oil drain plug is on a vertical instead of horizontal plane, the drain tube sticks straight out instead of going down into the drain can. So... I found a PEX elbow laying around and made a correction. Now I have to wait until next oil change to try it out. The filter will still make a mess when removing it, but hopefully the oil itself will be easy and less messy to drain.

@Tonyrodz

Here's a thread I have seen pop up regarding the corvette servo question. There are a couple more.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/downside-to-installing-the-corvette-servo.2150/

Here's a link to the place where a lot of guys get the actual part needed. The link in the first thread is inactive.

Install instructions with pics from that thread as well.

What's the deal with the one that has the longer pin?

Looks like they are both supposed to fit the same application.

Don;t know which one to get though. The longer pin or just without it

Changed my oil, diff fluid, discovered a leak somewhere in my windshield wiper fluid reservoir, so I'll do some investigating some time tomorrow, my LED bars will be in tomorrow as well, so I'll be taking apart my fog light housing to try and fit them in there.
Ordered my Black Depo projectors, DDM 35w Hids, error code cancelling(just in case) and black Depo corner lights, I think they'll go great with the whole idea I have working, I like the amber corner portion... Reason being is I actually like the look of the factory tails on my white and black Tahoe.

Not needed on gmt800 platform.

Newer vehicles have systems that will indicate if headlight is blown. Swapping to led/hid typically triggers that warning due to lower amp draw. That error code cancelling plug in prevent that
