Why did you park it ? And what all did you fix to bring her back to life ?

Long story short, about 18 months ago I turned the key and nothing happened. It needed about $1,500 worth of work and after about 3 hours trying to fix it and just gave up. I have been driving what was supposed to be my wife's new Jeep since then. For whatever reason this weekend I just got an itch and started working on it again.

Back in the day, I tapped into the wires for the XM radio to use them for an Aux in for my cell phone. Evidently, a wire had worked it way loose back there and disabled the starter circuit. I'm guessing it has something to do with OnStar. Anyway, fixed the wire and it fired up like a champ. After half a day in the shop to get the rear axle bearing and seal assembly replaced and another $450 at AutoZone for front hubs and rotors and pads all around, she's like brand new...ish.

Well if it's still like the photos it's a nice looking hoe. Glad to see you got it going and back enjoying it. Don't know what it is but I love driving mine too. Allways puts a smile on my face :boti:

View attachment 65810 Washed and tried out the new buffer for the wax job. I think she turned out better than doing it by hand and took away some more scratches and stone chips that were not through the clear. Over all a WIN :happy107:
Also got the 22"s back on but didn't get to drive fast enough to see if they fixed the balance.
Now looking at this picture I have to darken up the head lights and fog. I think I am going to try the rustolim coating. I have a old set of lights I am going to practice on.

Buy black housing headlights and corner lights for like $70.... Don't go and spray tint/paint your lights. Ghetto

What year are the Wheel, and what are the off of? Also what size tire did you get? I really like that look!
Thanks! I believe the wheels came off of a 2013 Yukon SLT. My tires are 265-70-17. I wanted 285's but I'm not sure if I'll lift it and I was afraid they might rub.
