IMAG1353.jpg IMAG1355.jpg Came today. I had no idea they had little springs in them. I bought a set over a yr ago and reused the heat shields from the old wires, and I don't think they had springs in them.

Swapped out new jounce bumpers in the front. This is a Texas RWD truck with 126k miles. Not sure if I expected them to be worse or better. Hopefully it calms down some of the bounciness that I was associating with the 5100's. Easy job and despite 15153958 listed as for 4x4 and another # I found for RWD, these that I pulled off have the same part # and I'm the original owner.

Preety sure they're designed to last longer than that. Looks like the Texas heat got to them.
Get back to us and let us know how the ride difference is with new ones.

I believe they're the same for all the NBS. That's the number for the ones on my 02 Denali AWD. Those look even worse than mine were at 130k. Those should help.

X2. I have my replacements ready to go too. I'd like to know if it's going to make a difference.

I have seen 15153959 as being for Z-71 that are stiffer as well and I may try those if these don't help out much. I believe that would make me a tad higher in the front and probably need an alignment.

Will report back after getting some more miles/seat time on these current new ones.
