Preety sure they're designed to last longer than that. Looks like the Texas heat got to them.Swapped out new jounce bumpers in the front. This is a Texas RWD truck with 126k miles. Not sure if I expected them to be worse or better. Hopefully it calms down some of the bounciness that I was associating with the 5100's. Easy job and despite 15153958 listed as for 4x4 and another # I found for RWD, these that I pulled off have the same part # and I'm the original owner.
I believe they're the same for all the NBS. That's the number for the ones on my 02 Denali AWD. Those look even worse than mine were at 130k. AC Delco plugs and wires, shipped for $69. Can't beat that.View attachment 72439 View attachment 72440 Came today. I had no idea they had little springs in them. I bought a set over a yr ago and reused the heat shields from the old wires, and I don't think they had springs in them.
