What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Replaced the inner & outer tie rod ends, idler arm & bracket, pitman arm, had the wheels balanced and rotated & aligned rides great now

Nice! Makes such a huge difference compared to the worn out stuff. All that stuff is new on my lade so I am planning to do the control arm bushings at some point.

When I was in high school you used to be able to get away with tipping your local smog guy. Not an option anymore.

Out here they got cameras in the testing bay that goes straight to the DMV so if anything isn't done right that tester & shop is screwed nobody is gonna risk there job over that

It sucks, all the time on FB you see people asking where to go to pass there's always a few places named I don't think it's really true anymore those days are long gone, on my OBS I had dumped exhaust everything else was legit, they wouldn't test it, had to put a new exhaust on

Since Christie became governor in NJ , state inspection isn't like it used to be. Back in the day they used to torture your car! No more. As long as your check engine light isn't on, you pass. Doesn't matter if your windshield is smashed, no brakes, bald tires etc, as long as there's no light, you pass. Oh, they also do a visual of your catalytic converter.
