Ok, guess that's the plan then. I don't need that special tool do I? I can just use a regular ratchet?
18mm socket or wrench. Put it on jackstands, adjust, lower it down and measure. Repeat as necessary. If they haven't been adjusted recently better spray them down the day before with your favorite penetrating fluid.

Keys have been on less then a month, so they should be good to go. Thx Red.

Yeah but have the adjusting bolts been turned recently ? Oh also you need a socket not a wrench. The keys were probably installed without adjusting the bolts.

Aren't the adjusting bolts near the keys? Don't those have to be loosened to take out the stock keys, torsion bars? Where are those located?

I've never adjusted mine so somebody will have to chime in. I do know they adjust against the keys but I'm not sure if they have to be loosened to replace keys. You can always YouTube it.

Ok, if that's them, then I'm good. Buffy took them completely off to put on my new keys. Thx for all the info. :waytogo:
